Docey Dandies will be doing a demo for square dancing at the United Methodist fellowship hall in Edgerton. It will be Tuesday night 8/11 from 6:30-8:00 pm. We are needing your help to fill squares and we know there will be at least 3-4 women who will need partners. Thanks for your help!! Hope to see you Tuesday night.

This event is fairly important to us. Shirley has a few people from her church in Edgerton who are interested in square dancing. This demo is our opportunity to show them our club and to get them acquainted with square dancing. The music will be provided by DVD (not Mike). A block of rooms (20) have been reserved at Baymont Inns & Suites North (4685 NE. 14th St), for any Docey Dandies that would like to stay in the same motel at Nationals in Des Moines, IA June 23-25th, 2016. Motel is 4 miles from Event Center & your card will not be charged until you arrive. You can reserve your room now and once reserved, can cancel anytime before 4:00pm the day before (June 22) with no charge. You must reserve your room before June 9, 2016 or any remaining rooms in the block will be cancelled!!! This motel is non smoking and does offer a hot breakfast. Rooms are blocked for 3 nights (June 23, 24 & 25th). You can reserve for 1, 2 or all 3 nights for the same price. Room rates are as follows:      2 Double beds at $80.00 + tax per night (4 rooms available)      2 Queen beds at $90.00 + tax per night (8 rooms available)      1 King bed  at $80.00 + tax per night (8 rooms available)
