1. Newbie Dance – Docey Dandies will be hosting!

Last Saturday we had a great dance with 40 Docey Dandies attending! That is two dances in a row that we have had 5 squares of Docey Dandies dancers at our dance - that is pretty awesome and makes for a great dance!
 
This Sunday we are hosting the HOA Newbie dance. This is a new dance for HOA that we are hoping will become a yearly tradition. It is aimed at setting up the new dancers in the area with free clothing, free coupons and probably their first calling from someone not their club caller. We need new dancers to join and try square dancing in the area. This dance sets them up for success - please try to make every effort to attend. It would be great if there were 50 Docey Dandies there – that would ensure that all the new dancers have a great time.
 
Our own Chuck will be MCing, Mike will be there and has agreed to do a tip, Stan and Beth with be doing a tip as well as lines, Sandy will be coordinating the clothes sale and Ken and Suzann will be working the money desk. Leslie and Daryl have some surprises for the new students. It is going to be fun! Chuck tells me there will be at least 6 different callers in all.
 
Please make every effort to attend. It is Sunday from 2 to 4 at the Holmswood Baptist Church (see flyer).  If you could come a little early and help setup the clothes sale that would be great. Also, if you can bring a light snack for the dancers to eat during the dance it would be nice.
