1) Ice Storm
As everyone knows there is going to be an Ice Storm event this weekend. Garnett is preparing for up to 1” of ice over the weekend. We will send out an email at 1:00 on Saturday updating on whether we will have a dance. We then communicate via our website, the on-line dance schedule and other media the decision. So stay tuned!
P.S. Mike probably has the furthest to travel and ice is nothing to mess with. I have encouraged him to not come if he is at all concerned about the travelling.
P.S.S. Sandy and I suffered through a week without power in Rochester, NY due to an ice storm. It was not fun. Please make your preparations assuming the worse.
2) Swing Dance Between a Tip This Dance
35 people attended the Swing dance lesson by Mike on Tuesday. Everyone there had a great time. The club voted to have one swing dance between tips this Saturday. So come prepared to show off your East Coast Swing moves this Saturday!
