Hello everyone,
We have an opportunity to show our club colors tomorrow night (Thursday) in Paola. Every year the 4th, 5th & 6th grade boys have a date night with their moms and watch a movie. This year they want to dance with their moms! We would like every available Docey Dandies member to help with this event if possible. There could be between 80 - 150 boys and moms at this event. The start time for square dancing is 6:30pm- 7:30pm with line dancing (A gym teacher from Osawatomie is doing the line dancing) starting at 6:00pm if you are interested. The location is at the Sunflower Elementary School which is right behind the High School, which is behind the Walmart right off the 169 Highway exit. The dance theme is "Moms & Sons Kick up Your Heels at the Mom & Me BARN BASH"....(western wear). I have attached the information to this email, if you cannot open it, please call Donna or Me for more information.
We are also offering new set of beginner square dance lessons starting Tuesday, October 18 in the Grange Kitchen. Mary & Sandy have agreed to teach this set of lessons with Mike's support. If you would like the share how much fun square dancing is with someone, please bring them on the 18th!
